" Queens has been described as the most diverse place on Earth, with more than 160 languages spoken within the county. The issues facing us are just as diverse. From storm flooding to invasive mosquitos, homeless populations to overcrowding, mass transit to traffic, pre-K services to senior housing, Queens faces it all. The Queens Civic Congress brings together the voices of civic associations across the borough to present the needs and opinions of our residents to elected officials, governmental agencies, and the media. Share your concerns with us. Attend a meeting. Learn about issues facing the borough, city, and state. Join a protest. Become an advocate for your county. Let us know how we can help you . " - Kevin J. Forrestal, President, Queens Civic Congress
